Our Restorative Practices (RP) training workshops are engaging and enjoyable! We custom-design each one to be interactive, and include a mix of foundational and experiential learning. Participants learn the philosophy and values underpinning RP, participate in circles, examine case studies, engage in role-plays, and do partner and small group work. When appropriate, workshops include assignments to practice, design, and implement restorative practices. This ensures participants are building and utilizing skills throughout the training. We work with individual schools, districts, communities, companies, and organizations. Contact us about tailoring a workshop to address your specific needs.

“This was the most practical and big picture thinking professional development training I have ever been a part of in my 17 years of teaching.
~Teacher
We offer onsite and virtual coaching and consulting to support you as you work to implement restorative practices (RP) into your community. Each setting, from a school to a board room, is unique and there is not one right path toward implementation. Our work is customized to meet the specific goals and needs of each client. Partnering with you, we provide resources, plan and develop customized mentoring and support for individuals and small groups, act as a sounding board, and consult on circle and conference facilitation. Coaching is a great way to begin planning for implementation, or to continue your work after having some training under your belt.

“It was really helpful to co-facilitate a restorative conference with P2RC. I learned a lot and the debrief afterward really helped me understand the process better.”
~Principal
P2RC’s presentations are designed to introduce the ideas and values of restorative practices (RP) into your setting. We offer one-hour, 90 minute, and two-hour presentations as a way to:
-Build buy-in with stakeholders
-Introduce a pilot program to potential early adopters
-Inform and educate community members and interested parties.
Our presentations are interactive and energetic, and participants come away with a greater understanding and appreciation of RP. Contact us to start building a better climate in your school, business, or organization.

“I am excited to see how we might use circles and restorative justice practices to help our school engage in active anti-racist community building.”
~High School Teacher
Invite us to step into your community to facilitate a restorative process with you. It is often helpful and more effective to have an outside party provide facilitation when conflict happens. We work with your community to create a process that addresses that conflict, repairs harm, and helps you move forward. Through a series of interviews we seek to understand the issues and perspectives at play. We will then design a circle to address the specific issues that have arisen, facilitating conversations that encourage connection, honest sharing, and movement toward solutions. Contact us if you’re curious about how to truly resolve a conflict.

“Today we all experienced a beautiful unfolding process. I felt shifts happening in myself … and felt hopeful that the shifting energy will continue. Each of you did a fantastic job. It felt like a deep-cleaning of layers of covered up, avoided and messy areas so that the truth could be viewed more clearly... You laid it out so well, in an order that gradually opened to more understanding and trust. … I’m so grateful to all of you for the energy, time, care, and expertise you put into this.
~Non-profit Circle Participant

The reality is that restorative practices are good for everyone! Bring us in to tailor an engaging community-building experience for your team. Through circles, games, and small groups we use practices that help teams build empathy, understanding, and rapport while building skills for communicating and addressing differences effectively.
