About our Equity Pricing Scale
We have moved to equity pricing in order to acknowledge the societal inequities that exist in the United States that systematically advantage some groups of people over others. Accessing trainings and services is often dependent on an individual's ability to pay; yet historic inequities have disadvantaged some people and created barriers to participation. Many organizations are now offering an equity pricing scale to address the financial imbalance between those with greater access to capital and institutional funding and those who have been disadvantaged or excluded. When registering for a training, please use the honor system to choose the price point that best describes your financial situation, based on the ways that your social position grants you access to privilege and capital.
